In the west yoga focuses mainly on physical exercises (asana) and breathing techniques (pranayama).The goal of yoga is to become aware of your body so you know where the tensions are. The various asana's are performed individually or in series with one or more asana's with a lot of attention for deep breathing.
Because not everyone who lives in the Netherlands is native and speaks fluent Dutch. For those people we have yoga lessons in the English language. The lessons are given in Hathaflow where the asana's alternate in a quiet and fluid way to the rhythm of everyone's personal breathing. It consists of standing asana's, balance asana's torsions, sitting asana's and lying asana's.
Everyone is able to enjoy their own balance at their own pace and level.
